The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman has been held in Washington, D.C.’s historic RFK Stadium since 2008. The 2012 Military Bowl marks the fifth year that Washington, D.C. will host a post-season NCAA football game. Organized by the DC Bowl Committee, the Military Bowl serves as a premier regional event benefiting the USO. With first-rate participants and events, the Military Bowl seeks to generate broad support for the USO, positively impact the regional economy, honor the U.S. military and solidify the nation’s capital as a leading college football destination.
Funds raised from the bowl help thousands of military personnel and their families through the game’s partnership with the USO. Last year, the Military Bowl donated $100,000 to the organization and provided more than 5,000 game tickets for service members and their families.
